The Delta County Commerce Center and Upper Peninsula International Raceway Volunteers are sponsoring a Motorsports Trade Show and Swap Meet in the Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds, 2401 12th Ave. N., Escanaba on March 5th from 9 AM to 5 PM EST with Bench Racing until 8 PM EST. Any motorsport affiliated business is welcome. The event will feature accessories, parts and machines from all areas of motorsports: snowmobiles, go-karts, micro-sprints, cars, motorcycles, ATV, water sports, off-road trucks, and tuff trucks. They will also have graphics & apparel, vinyl lettering, safety equipment, and engine builders & repair. A car corral will be set up if needed. Booths are $25 for 10x10 spaces which includes table, chairs and two $5 admissions, $40 for 10x20 spaces which includes the same. There is a $5 discount if registered by February 15. Admission is $5 and children 12 and under are admitted free.
Additionally, there will be concessions, kids’ activities, door prizes, hourly 50/50 raffles, auction and racing on a big screen TV. An area will be set up for racing clubs and tracks to showcase their venues.
Vendors will be able to access their space for set-up on Friday, March 4th from 3 to 8 PM EST or Saturday, March 5th at 8:00 AM EST. Vendors and exhibitors should note that there will be no heat in the building on Friday night. Trailers and haulers can be parked at the fairgrounds overnight at your own risk. Items must be removed March 5th by 8 PM EST.
