4/17/10 Work Bee

A big thank you to volunteers at the UPIR work bee Saturday, April 17th. The cement wall barrier is nearing completion. Rock pickers made a big dent in the stones. The Tough Truck track is now complete.

Future Track Layout

The potential future of UPIR. The track is a 3/8-mile asphalt track that is progressively banked in the turns at 3 degrees, 6 degrees, 9 degrees and 12 degrees.

The access road is intended to create a smaller track in turns three and four to accomodate go-karts, small cars, etc. The plans may include a small dirt track/motocross/snocross track in the infield. There will also be room for mud drags on the infield.
